Gravytrain Ltd was asked by one of its clients to design and construct a web site that would help its users find venues within the UK to host special events. The site would start off providing wedding and conference venues but we at Gravytrain had to incorporate room for expansion in our design so that it could be improved at a later date to include other types of venues.
The designers at Gravytrain designed to make searching and booking the venues on the site as easy as possible for the user. A map of the UK was placed on this page and was split up into counties which could be clicked going to another page displaying all of the venues in that area. A drop down list of all th counties was also included by gravytrain with the same function as the map. A newsletter subscription service and venue of the month feature was also added to the design.
Gravytrain has sent proposals to the client and is currently waiting to hear back from them regarding our design. Here at gravytrain we will keep you updated with the events of this exciting site as they happen on this blog.

Gravytrain Case Study: MotorQuoteDirect.co.uk
One of Gravytrain Ltd's latest projects inolves creating an insurance comparison site for one of our clients. The client asked Gravytrain to provide them with an attractive comparison site that was easy to use and provided quotes from a number of different insurance providers.
We at Gravy train Ltd set out on the task and came up with a simple, easy to use design that included forms for the user to fill out with their own personal information. The quotation process involved 4 easy steps. These included personal details, vehicle/driver details, contact details and a results page providing the user with the top 4 quotes from insurers as well as links to the given insurers website and a buy button, that when clicked would take the user to the start of the payment process to purchase the insurance policy.
Gravytrain is currently in the final process of launching Motor Quote Direct and will update this blog with the URL of the website as soon as it is launched.
