Bedford Insurance own all of the Quote Direct modules that offer car, home, bike, van, property and now liability insurance. All of these sites are designed and constructed by the insurance services team at Gravytrain Limited.

One of Bedford's latest addition to their range of sites is Liability Quote Direct. The site has been live for quite a while now however, construction of the sites interactive quote engine was finished today. This will allow users to input their details and receive quotes from a number of selected partners of Bedford insurance. The user will then have the option of buying the policy online and could be insured in a matter of minutes.

The skin fits in with the rest of the Quote Direct brands and is as simple and easy to use as the other skins. The template has been developed to conform with the latest coding standards laid down by the W3C. The W3C set down good coding practises and regulations that all web designers must stick to. A Packet Of Hob-Nobs Is The Key

Over the past couple of years Gravytrain Limited's design team have come up with some brilliant ideas and designs, so that makes me wonder, how do they think of these brilliant ideas within such a small time frame given to them. I sat down with one of the design team and discussed this subject, with the hope of gaining the truth behind the brain of a Gravytrain Limited designer.

The design team have produced some excellent work this year with some of their sites including big names such as Lifesure, SEHBAC, Flaps International and Mortgage Plus as just to name a few. Other sites they have designed and created include Quotesearcher, the new price comparison site. Our design team sit in front of the computer screen for hours on end, building and creating to perfection.

Whilst on their lunch break, I caught up with one of the design team and asked him a few questions about his job role. From this small interview I gathered that the key to most of the designs is a pack of McVities Hob-Nobs!! According to our design team the dark chocolate biscuit snack feeds the brain increasing its concentration span allowing the team to work hard and fast for hours on end. It is rumoured that the design team can go through up to 5 packets of Hob-Nobs a day when working on a difficult project. That's a lot of food for the brain!! Talk about food for thought!!

Quotesearcher Soon To Be Offering Bike Insurance

Gravytrain Limited's price comparison website, Quotesearcher, will soon provide it's customers with bike insurance. Gravytrain announced today that the construction of the quote engine for bike insurance will begin as from today. Their web development team will liase with the design team and create a similar looking skin that will fit in with the rest of the site and is as easy to use.

The new interactive quote engine will return a number of different quotes to it's users allowing them to compare prices from a number of different insurers allowing them to see who is offering the best prices. They will also be able to save quotes and store them with any other car, van or home quotes they may have taken out online. These quotes can be accessed via the login page and will provide a central point to where users can go and edit or create quotes.

The Quotesearcher website has grown massively over the past 6 months thanks to the hard work put in by Gravytrain Limited. Home & Van Insurance Get Brand New Quote Engines

Gravytrain Limited maintain and host a price comparison website known as Quotesearcher. This website offers price comparison for a number of different products ranging from all different types of insurance to credit cards to mortgages and loans.

Currently on the site, it mainly offers affiliate links to a number of different partners. Car insurance is the only product on the website that currently offers an interactive quote engine that retrieves a number of different quotes from Quotesearcher's partners. This quote engine was constructed by the web development team at Gravytrain Limited.

Quotesearcher is growing by the week and plans to expand this quote engine are now being put into motion. The quote engines for both home and van insurance have been built and are now in their final stages of testing before they will eventually go live. This will mean that Quotesearcher will offer a price comparison service for car, home and van insurance. Rumours coming out of the Gravytrain Limited camp suggest that bike insurance may be next up to receive this upgrade but at the moment that is just pure speculation.

Gravytrain Limited Designers Update Quote Engine Skin

Gravytrain Limited created the Quotesearcher quote engine that users will use on the Quotesearcher website to retrieve quotes from a number of different partners. This quote engine's skin or front end look was built a very long time ago and the coding used in the skin was extremely dated.

The gravytrain limited web design team have decided to re-write this old code with the main aim of making the look of the skin consistent through the entire quote process, and with home, van and bike quote engines going live soon and using the same skin as motor, the design team felt that this was the right time to do this. The new re-written code will meet all the latest W3C standards and will also be extremely easy to edit in the future.

The skin re-write is part of a major re-design across the entire Quotesearcher website. With new products and partners being added monthly the website just keeps growing. Gravytrain Limited constructed the website. If you would like to get in touch with Gravytrain to enquire about their insurance services or any other products that they offer, please visit their website at http://www.gravytrain.co.uk/.

Gravytrain Give Quotesearcher Results Page Flash Animation

Gravytrain Limited have designed and created the website Quotesearcher.co.uk. This website offers it's customers insurance comparison on a range of insurance products including car, home, bike and van insurance. It currently offers an interactive quote engine for car insurance and this is going to be spread across home, bike and van insurance in the coming months.

Users receive their results on the results page. When the Gravytrain designers looked at this page they felt that the page was boring but liked the idea of having the quotes coming in live rather than displaying the quotes once they had all been collected. To increase user interest in the page and prevent the user from getting bored whilst waiting for their quotes, the Gravytrain Limited designers have decided to create a flash animation that will only appear whilst the users quotes are being collected.

The flash animation involves books floating across the screen from one folder to another. These books each have the logo or branding of one of Quotesearchers partners. This animation was created with the aim of keeping the user occupied whilst their quotes are collected from the Quotesearcher system. Before, all the page had on it was a percentage counter that went up as the number of quotes were gathered. It was compared with watching paint dry by one of the designers meaning it was not very good for the page.

Gravytrain Limited offer a range of insurance services. If you are interested in obtaining these insurance services or with to make a general enquiry then please visit the Gravytrain Limited website by clicking on the link in this blog post.

Bedford's Motor Product Gets Search Engine Optimization

One of Gravytrain Limited's clients. Bedford Insurance, have invested in the SEO expertise of us here at Gravytrain. This will require gravytrain to built a lot of pages and write a lot of content to fill these pages.

The aim of this investment is to get Motor Quote Direct appearing hire for certain keywords based on the product, so for instance in this case the search term 'car insurance' and other keywords associated with car insurance. The content is written and then placed into pages that fit in with the Motor Quote Direct site layout and will look a part of the site. The content is not pointless as it will be useful information that the user will use if they choose to.

Subjects that the content will include are car insurance guides, driving guides, money saving tips, etc. This content is useful to the user as anyone looking for car insurance will want to know about the insurance that they are buying and want to save money on that insurance.

SEO is very important when it comes to online marketing as you can have the greatest website in the world but if nobody knows about it or can find it then there is not much chance of you making money. When optimized properly web pages really can boost ROI and is a good way to advertise your web page as well as your business. Gravytrain Limited Begin There Own Website Re-Design

Gravytrain Limited's design team started the re-vamp of the current Gravytrain website today. The new website aims to promote the services that our company offers and also provides users with information and tutorials. The new website will include white papers and blog posts and it's colour scheme will change depending on the seasons. An idea debated by some of the design team!

This website re-design is long overdue as the current Gravytrain site is in great need of being modernised and updated. In recent times a lot of gravytrain's clients have opted for website re-designs and now most of those are finished and things have quietened down a little bit in the office, the design team thought that this would be a great opportunity to implement the new design and begin construction.

Content on the site will be updated constantly and the site has been specifically designed to be as usable and accessible as possible, giving new users and gravytrain's current staff and clients the excellent web experience that they deserve. To see how the current website looks, please visit the Gravytrain Limited website by clicking the link in this blog post, and judge for yourself, when the new site goes live, how much of an improvement the new design really is.

Gravytrain Limited Adds Penions Plus Website To Portfolio

One of Gravytrain Limited's new clients includes Pension Plus, who have asked Gravytrain to build them a new website to allow them to start promoting themselves online. Pension Plus are an Irish based company that offer pension plans and schemes to all of there customers.

They wanted their website to provide the user with information about all of there products as well as give them the opportunity to contact pension plus and get a quick quote. The quick quote form appears on every page of the site giving the user the chance to fill out their information and have pension plus call them back that very same day with a quote for them. There is also a contact us form on the site in case a user has a query or anything else they would like to ask the pension plus scheme.

Pension Plus is another company that are asking for a new website from Gravytrain Limited. Any company looking to extend their company onto the internet needs to have a very good website to back up the companies image. The website, on the internet, acts as a first impression for your company so if the website is broken, hard to use and doesn't really work very well then you can expect that user to have a bad first impression of your company and you only get one shot at a first impression.

Mortgage Plus Decide To Go Forward With New Website Design

One of Gravytrain Limited's clients, Mortgage Plus has decided to go ahead with a complete re-design of their current website. The gravytrain designers have agreed on a proposal with the Irish mortgage provider and have now moved into the construction phase.

Mortgage Plus are one of the leading mortgage providers in Ireland and felt that their website needed modernising and updating if they was to keep this title. They wanted their new website to be clearly split into product sections for each product that they offer and this has been put into the new design. The entire layout of the website has been changed and is now more accessible and easier to use for the every day user. The website will contain a 'Quick Quote' form on each page which will encourage users to fill out this form and make an enquiry with Mortgage Plus for a number of different products.

Mortgage Plus are not the only one of Gravytrain Limited's clients to go for a complete site re-design. Lifesure Group Limited recently went for a site re-design and this has proved to be extremely successfull thanks to the efforts from the gravytrain designers.

Website's must be continually updated as web technologies are improving at a rapid rate due to the internets popularity. Giving the user current and regular updated information is vital as the user realises that the website is constantly being reviewed rather than being just left up on the internet collecting people's information or whatever the websites main aim is. For more information about getting your website re designed or even getting a brand new website please visit the Gravytrain Limited website by clicking the link in this post.

Recall Quotes Facility To Be Implemented On Quotesearcher

Gravytrain Limited have decided to take things with Quotesearcher.co.uk to a new level by implementing a facility on the website where users will be able to recall there old quotes that they have created for car, home, van and bike insurance. Quotesearcher currently does not offer an interactive quote engine for home, van and bike insurance but this is currently being created by the gravytrain limited developers.

Quotesearcher Results Page Gets A Face Lift

Gravytrain Limited have decided to give Quotesearcher's results page a face lift. The designers at Gravytrain have been given the task of making the page better than it already is. The results page at the moment currently displays car insurance quote details to the user once they have submitted all of there relevant information. Using this page they can see their cheapest quotes and then have the option to pay for the quote using Quotesearchers online payment service.

After discussing the task, the gravytrain limited designers decided that the results page needed to have some kind of animation added to it so that users had something to look at whilst waiting for the quotes to come in. They also decided that the results should be placed in an iframe. This is because in the older version of the results page the whole page would refresh everytime a new quote comes in.

Now put in an iframe the Gravytrain Limited designers have made it so that only the results table refreshes once a new quote comes in. This will also allow flash animations to be displayed on the page as without the iframe this would not be possible. The gravytrain designers created an animation that will contain a magnifying glass that will look over a quote. This quote will then shoot across the page and land in a folder. The quote shooting across the page will also contain one of the partners logo's that is quoting for the customer.

The new-look results page will be going live in the coming weeks. For more information about Gravytrain Limited and the services they offer please visit the gravytrain website by clicking on the link in this post.
